New convergence results for Local SGD under heterogeneous data.
We are happy to announce that “Convergence of Local SGD under Heterogeneous Data”, by Pham Quoc Anh, Tran Minh Khoa and Elena Rossi, has been accepted at AAAI 2026.
Main contribution: a new convergence bound for Local SGD that improves the term depending on data heterogeneity across clients. Code and the preprint are linked from the paper page.
